Drug Policy Alliance
Drug Policy Alliance: I am all about people who need marijuana for medical reasons if you are dying of cancer and that will ease your pain yes I think you should be able to use. I have never been a user but if you do that is your choice just as drinking alcohol is your choice. Legalizing marijuana is not that bad in my opinion. It would free up some on of our prisoners so that people who are committing worse crimes can go to jail! I mean lets be honest if you really want it you can find right? But to legalize heroin, LSD, and crack because u think it is a human's right to choose is beyond crazy. I want prayer back in schools and that should be my right as a human but no one is legalizing that! Call me old school but legalizing that mess is not going to make our drug problem go down it will make it worse! I sure as heck do not want my boys living in a world where that mess is legal! I heard this on Fox News today and seriously thought it had to be a joke until I looked it up! I am seriously praying for our country right now and really hoping God will not let this happen!

Crafting
Hey Everyone!
Ok so I have started crafting more if you guys didn't know that I did that well shame on you ha ha just kidding! I made this really cute baby shower card tonight for my friend Laurie who will be having a baby girl very soon!
I am so proud of myself How cute is this? I made it all by myself using my Cricut Expression Machine
It was so much fun! I will be making the party favors for Coleton's little family party that we are having in Collinsville and I will upload pictures of that soon! I still need to edit our pictures from Thomas so that you guys can see those! I also am starting to make personalized things such as this water bottle that I made for myself so if you are interested in anything let me know and I will take orders.
It is really cute as well! I am making a sippy cup for Coleton and will upload a pic of that when I get it done! Well all for some unknown reason I have all this extra energy today which I need to spend cleaning my house or working out but crafting is so much more fun! Hope you all have a great night!

Crafts
Good Evening!
Wow that sounded so professional and lets be honest we all know that this blog is so not professional ha ha. OK so I have a cricut machine by provocraft and I so love it! It does all these great and wonderful things that I use to scrapbook and use for teaching. Unfortunately I do not have as much time these days to scrapbook but I still love my machine. It is the greatest hing in the world! Well guess what they now have one that does cakes...yes it actually does cakes. Of course me being the wonderful cook that I am I want one of these new machines so incredibly bad. Chris of course will not buy me one so I am hoping that I can win one. There is a contest given by the DIY dish. It is http://bit.ly/new_cricut_cake that is the link to check it out! Everyone should go check out their webisodes they are so cute and helpful but most of all you need to register to win this machine. If any of you win it though you have to let me borrow it :)
I have started making a few things to sell on Etsy like personalized water bottles, buckets, cups, and other things that I will post pictures of soon so that you can see and place any orders if you would like! Well I am off to bed it has been an extremely tiring weekend! As soon as I get pictures from A Day out with Thomas I will post them for all of you to enjoy! It was so much fun Coleton had a blast!

Thomas the Tank Engine
Well this blog will be continued after tomorrow but I thought I would let everyone know that we are going to see Thomas tomorrow! Coleton is completely obsessed with Thomas so when I found out that he would be right outside of Birmingham I had to get tickets. This is what he is getting for his birthday and he is super excited. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees that he gets to ride the actual Thomas the train! I will take lots and lots of pictures and hopefully post some on here so that you can see them!
My sweet little boy is completely growing up and I am just in tears everyday. I want to know where my little baby boy went and where this smart big boy came from. We were out playing today and he told me that the sun was too bright that he needed his shades bless him. Here is one of the shots that I got of him!

Diapers
Hey Hey followers!
So I am extremely excited to say that Coleton is potty trained yes I said it he is potty trained! Way to go my big boy! He also turned tree years owd this week as he puts it! I am so excited these days talking about tee tee and poo poo in the potty! Now I only have one in diapers thank goodness!
Why is that diapers are so expensive? I mean really our kids just pee or poop in them and we spend a small fortune on them. I mean if you think about all the money we spend on diapers geez its a ton! I have a new suggestion. I am going to try the gdiapers. They are cheaper which is a huge plus and they are better for our environment I mean hello there is a no brainer.

Crazy Weekend
Good Afternoon All!
It has been a crazy weekend for us most of it was spend in the car! This may not sound crazy to you but unless you have ever been trapped in a car all day with a 2 year old and a one month old you have no clue! We went visiting yesterday which is always fun when I get to visit family. We went to see my grandmother bless her sweet heart. She is the most wonderful lady that you will ever meet in your life but she does not hold anything back when she is talking to you. As many of you know all moms no matter what age want to give you advice whether you want it or not. My Mama Liz is no exception. Many times I feel that nothing I do no matter how hard I try is going to be good enough. She knows best and I am still just a child to her that is clueless. So yesterday I got to listen to her diagnose all of my child's problems and how I was causing them. Like I said bless her heart we love her so much and are going to be lost without her.
After a long day in the car yesterday, we had a long night of Cash not wanting to sleep. I sleepily stumbled down the stairs this morning still half asleep to find Coleton eating breakfast with my mom. He was eating biscuits and jellyfish translation grape jelly :) I guess sponge-bob has had more of an effect on him than I thought! Sweet Coleton I do not know what I would do without him! He is me big boy using the potty! We have had a great weekend of using the potty and I am so proud of him! Just wanted to check in and drop a quick note I will post pictures soon of my sweet Coleton in his big boy underwear and his cowboy hat!

Be Thankful
I just got off of facebook.. my guilty pleasure! I found out that a girl that I went to college with needs our prayers. This girl was one of those people you could go to with anything and she was willing to help. She is a beautiful person inside and out. She has 3 children all under the age of 4. She has one boy the oldest that is 4 and 2 girls. Her son has been really sick and in the hospital undergoing tests. They found out today that this precious little boy has leukemia. I have no idea the extent I am actually not really familiar with this disease but I do know that this is not good. She and her family are some of the greatest Christian people that you will ever meet. Coleton will be 3 next month and I can not even begin to imagine what this family is going through. It literally breaks my heart for them. Things like this always bring up the questions of why. Why did this happen to this wonderful family, why did it happen to an innocent child why why why. The whys can go on forever but we just have to trust as Christians that God is in control. Miracles happen every day I know because I experienced one on Feb 18 2010 with the birth of Cash.
I know that I complain about little things with my boys, or my husband, or money or whatever but I would die without my family. I know that if anything happens to this little boy that his parents will be wishing for things to complain about with him. Please take a moment right now and hug and kiss those that you love. Let them know that they mean the world to you. Life is too short not to. Remember next time that your kids make you so mad you want to scream that at least they are there and healthy enough to make you mad! Each of our children are a gift from God that we need to thank Him for every second of every day! So remember that the little arguements that we think are so important that we will not give into because we are going to be right if nothing else and yes I am speaking from experience ha ha. Those little arguments are trivial and at least that person is in your life to have that argument with! Call all the old friends and family that you have not talked to lately and tell them that you love them. Life is short we need to enjoy the time that we have and be thankful that you have been given the gift of another day with your friends and family.
